All of us who watch your videos know, but for those future subscribers, let’s start with the basics.
Q: What’s your name and age?
My name is Michele with 1 “L”, haha I always say that b/c otherwise everyone spells my name wrong, and I just turned 24!

Q: Do you have any nicknames?
My best friends call me Meech, or Chell

Q: How tall are you?
Oh God, you mean how short am I?!  I am only 5 ft 4 inches….but you would never know because I always wear at least 2 inch heels!

Q: Does anyone ever tell you that you look like someone famous? If so, who?
I use to get a lot of people telling me I look like Katie Holmes, I never saw it.  But one person I get ALL the time is Mila Kunis, better known as “The girl from That 70s Show”  I can see that resemblance a lot more than Katie Holmes!

Q: Who are your inspirations for beauty and fashion?
Thats a good question!  I wouldn’t necessarily say I have inspirations more than there are people whos fashion and style I really adore.  I love Carrie Underwood!  I love her music so much, but even more I always love what shes wearing.  She always has the the best wardrobe and looks very sexy, but shes very classy and never looks trashy….Her make-up goes without saying, her face is always flawless and her makeup is always natural and gorgeous.   I actually really like Laruen Conrad’s style as well…I know thats corny b/c technially shes not really a “star” but I love her clothes and her hair is always so cute!

Q: At what age did you start becoming obsessed with beauty products?
I started wearing make-up at an early age but my obsession didn’t happen until honestly only about a year ago!  I blame You Tube for increasing my obsession everyday though!  Before makeup and even now, my obsession for Clothes and Shoes was 100 times more than makeup.  My hauls were always clothes and shoes and than maybe a tube of lipgloss here or there.  Now Its completely switched…my closet is overflowing and yet I feel like I never have anything to wear, and I can’t even fit my shoes in my closet…so now its time to fill up my traincases!

Q: How old were you when your parents let you start wearing makeup?
I think I started wearing makeup in middle school, like 6 or 7th grade, so I was about 12 or 13 I think?

We know you have a brother because he made an “appearance” in one of your videos.
Q: Do you have any other siblings? or pets?
Haha, yea, the “guest star” was my younger brother.  I also have an older brother as well, and a white golden retriever named Lucy, I think she was in one of my vids too.  She is incredibly spoiled and the most adorable pup in the world!  I use to wish I had a sister growing up, but if you asked me today, I love being the only girl, definitely a Daddy’s girl and the center of his world   I don’t think I would have liked to share him!

Q: What does your boyfriend think about your YouTube channel and product obsession?
He really likes my YT channel, and hes always asking about it.  I don’t know if hes just being nice or maybe he really does care, but he literally asks me every day “how many subscribers are you at now?”  Hes so freaking cute!!  I was really shy at first to tell him about it, because I thought he would make fun of me, but after I broke down and showed him he thought it was really great!  He knows how obsessed I am with makeup and he always hears me talking about it with people so he is glad I have a bigger community to share and discuss (which in turn means he doesn’t have to hear my gab to him about it as much)!  He likes the videos too, because he travels a lot and he can see me anytime he wants! I thought my product obsessions would scare him away, but hes wonderful about it, and he understands its kind of like a hobby t me!  He has never been anything but supportive!

Q: Do you ever leave the house without doing your makeup?
Haha thanks, well suprisngly on the weekends I don’t wear as much make-up as I do during the week.  I like to give my skin a breather once in a while.  Not to mention its nice to just take a break…I put it on every day for work, and on the weekends its nice to not have to take the time to do that!  If I don’t feel like wearing make-up but im going to run errands or something I always throw on Mascara and Lip gloss.  I think those are the 2 staples that can make anyone look awake and glamerous withouth caking on the makeup.  But I really don’t have a problem leaving the house without makeup, especially if Im just going to hang at my boyfriends or something…hes seen that I can clean up nice, so I don’t feel as insecure around him =)

Q: What are your five favorite makeup products?
Oh man, that is such a touch call!  Ok 1) all of my Rare Minerals Skin Care products 2) MAC Viva Glam V Lipstick 3) Too Faced Lash Injection 4) Dollymix Blush 5) Shu umeura eyelash curler…its freaking amazing!

Q: What are a few of your “obsessions” right now (Foods, designer, tv show, song, etc.)?
My main obsessions that will probably always remain my obsessions are Sushi and Starbucks!  I could eat Sushi every darn day and it never gets old.  Starbucks…well that just goes without saying, I think we can all agree that a grande skinny cinnamon dolce latte can brighten up any day!  Currently I am obsessing over Balenciaga Bags, trying to decide which one to get next…..which is a VERY bad expensive obsession, and I am loving Taylor Swfits new album!  Oh and sick reality tv, like the Bachelor….totally obsessed with that show, I do all my research and try to decipher screencaps and tell who the winner is going to be.  I actually think I have it figured out, but I dont want to spoil it for anyone!  I am LOVING Viva La Juicy perfume as well, just hate that it doesn’t stay on me all day.  Oh yea, Scarves and Abercrombie and Fitch hoodies.  Oh yea and Uggs….I wear them all weekend long, and if I could wear them into work I would!

Q: Besides the Twilight series, what are your favorite books?
Ahhhh I LOVE Twilight, so sad I*m done reading them now!  Haha, but anyway….I am a sucker for everything and anything written by Nicholas Sparks.  At First Sight and The Choice are my 2 favorites by him.  I love the sappy romance novels!

You talk about work in a lot of your videos.
Q: What is your current profession? Do you like your job?
I currently work in Inside Sales and I am a Medical Sales Rep…I absolutely LOVE my job.  It feels so great to sell and represent products that help improve patients care and can even save lives.  I am incredibly passionate about the products I sell!

Q: What is your dream career?
Its pretty pathetic that I still don’t know what my dream is…wow, I really had to think about this one.  I absolutely Love Medical Sales, but I don’t see myself doing it forever…its a lot of travel and when I have kids I will want to be home with them and not traveling.  I have thought about going back to school to be a Physcians Asst, but its a LOT of money and 2 years of intense school.  I wouldn’t have time for a job which means no income and no benefits.  To be honest, I don’t know if Im ready to completely change my lifestyle….I definitely wouldn’t be able to buy makeup, like ever, and Im just not prepared to do that!! I*m just not as passionate as I should be to make such a change.  I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I think eventually thats what Im going to end up doing…I love kids and remember playing “school” when I was a little girl…I just love the teaching aspect of things so thats probably where my career will end up, especially once I have kids of my own, its the perfect job!  Its kind of scary though, I*ve kept in touch with a lot of my teachers from grade school and they always tell me how times have changed and how disrespectful kids are these days, and its kind of intimidating to me…I will keep you posted on that one!

Q: What got you started doing videos on YouTube?
I actually never even knew a makeup world existed on YouTube!  I searched a product and for the life of me I can’t remember what it was, but that opened up the door to all the amazing videos, and after I watched them for a couple months I thought I would love to make videos, because I love helping people learn new things and I could talk about beauty products to anyone at anytime all day long!  What better way to share my thoughts and passion with everyone who can relate! Sadly enough out of all my girlfriends, no one is a freak like me about makeup…they all wear it, but they dont’ obsess over it!  So its nice to find an entire community of us crazys that enjoy it so much!

Q: Do you have any future goals for your YouTube channel or your blog?
Well for my blog, I really hope to keep that updated more often, I*ve been a serious slacker.  For my YT channel, I guess just to reach out to more people and share my secrets!  I get a lot of messages thanking me for teaching them something new or telling me I helped persuade them one way or another on a product, and thats always nice to hear!

Q: How often do you haul and has your haul frequency increased since starting YouTube?
Omg I definitely haul way more than I should…but I never feel bad, because I am very good and smart about my finances and as much as I haul, I am saving a lot at the same time because I still live at home (God Bless my parents for allowing me to stay!) and I think now is the best time for me to splurge, because once I get married and have a familiy I will have a different set of priorities and will have to make a lot of sacrifices…ie: MAC…so I guess you can say I am taking advantage now while I still can!  Sad to say I probaby haul once a week or once every 2 weeks….not necessariily huge hauls, but a product here or there.  And YES I completely blame YT for my increasingly more frequent hauls…I*m always hearing about new products that I MUST try out and have!  I always think about how much money I would save if I just stopped watching videos, but I can’t…its just too darn addicting!

Q: Do you ever have buyers remorse for spending all of your hard earned money on products?
Never, not once.  I think of make-up as an investment, and as much as people (like my parents!) don’t believe me, I do use all of the products I own….If you think about it, I wear make-up practically everyday, so thats a lot of makeup to use!  The only things I don’t use all the time are the beauty powders, I do sometimes buy those purely because the compacts are pretty and I like collecting them and switching out the compacts.

Q: What draws you to buy a certain product or brand of makeup?
Anything with MAC*s name on it of course.  The other thing I rely on to find new products is YouTube, and my favorite gurus on there!  I check Makeup Alley sometimes too and read reviews, I can honestly say I do my research on most products before I buy them, except for MAC…those are always impulse buys!

Q: At what stores and websites do you most frequently shop for makeup?
Well there is the obvious maccosmetics.com, my new found favorite, allcosmeticswholesale.com, where you can find great discounted makeup products and all different brands, and even “hard to find, Limited Edition or Discontinued” products!  Sephora.com and thats about it!  I don’t have any Nordstroms by me, but there is one about an hour away and when I*m in the area I stop there and always check out the MAC counter, Bobbi Brown and Chanel!

Q: Do you have any beauty secrets or tips that you think most other people don’t know about?
Hmm, not that I can think of….I always curl my eyelashes…but thats obvious in all my videos, and I always use an eyeshadow primer…I think that is the greatest tip of them all…it really does make a difference on how your eyeshadow applies and staying power.  The only other thing is that I take my make up off and wash my face every single night.  It definitely effects your skin!

Q: What is your most prized possession?
Well I think my Makeup collection goes without saying because its been my ongoing investment, but my most prized possessions would have to be my Balenciaga Bags, they are my babies and I am extremely overprotective and OCD about them!

Q: Can you tell us some fun facts that we probably don’t know about you?
Let seeeeee, I LOVE Country music! I use to hate it as a kid when my parents listened to it all the time but I have grown to LOVE it!  I like all different kind of music, but Country is my #1.  I have an obsession with Pigs!  I think they are the cutest things in the whole world, and they*re PINK!  My dream is to have one as a pet….that is one dream that will probably never come true though!  I make and sell my own Flip Flops!!  I am going to attach a picture to show you.  My grandmother made me a few pairs a couple years ago, and I LIVE in flip flops from Spring until Winter, so I wore them all over, and started getting really huge compliments so she helped me kind of go into a little business on the side!  Its nothing huge, just by word of mouth, but they are so fun and people love them!  I LOVE to make Checklists…and there is no better feeling in the world than when everything is checked off!!  If there is still stuff that isn’t checked off it feels like a dark cloud over me.  I seriously have post its all over the place, at home, at work, in my Blackberry…ugh its crazy!  I am a hopeless romantic…I guess you can say, I love LOVE!  I know its corny but its so true!  Oh and my check book must ALWAYS be balanced, or the dark clouds hang over me again!  I have a Bachelors in Business Administration and majored in Marketing!

Q: What were you for Halloween last year? Did it involve any crazy makeup?
Sadly enough, I actually didn’t dress up for Halloween!  I stayed home and passed out candy to all the cute little kids, its always fun to see them all dressed up!  In college it was fun because there were always parties and events to dress up for, but now that I*m out of college, Halloween parties are far and few between! Next year I plan to be Rainbow Bright and yes there will be CRAZY makeup!
