Q: We usually see you sitting down on camera! How tall are you?
5’4….shortie!

Q: Does anyone ever tell you that you look like someone famous? If so, who?
ALL THE TIME! I get Adrienne Bailon almost everyday…and the occasional “You remind me of Kim Kardashian!”  I don’t see it!

Q: When did you become interested in cosmetics and beauty products?
I remember specifically…I was in the 7th grade! My mom bought me my first foundation, and all the other girls made fun of me because I wore makeup!

Q: Who are your inspirations as far as fashion and beauty?
As far as fashion, I’ve always loved Nicole Richie’s style. All that bohemian-ness and such! I like to keep up with the latest beauty trends, and whats the new thing to try. So I always pay attention to what the models makeup look like during fashion week. I also really love like sexbomb makeup! HAHA. You know, like the smokey eye and nude lip! LOVES IT!

Q: What is your philosophy on makeup?
Don’t let anyone tell you you’re doing your makeup wrong! There are NO rules!! If you want to put your eyeshadow on with your fingers, then go for it!

Q: What are a few of your “obsessions” right now?
I’ve always been obsessed, and forever will be obsessed, with Japanese food! There is an amazing Japanese place where I live that I go to dinner at every Sunday. It basically completes my life.
This is random – but I’ve kinda been fascinated with the show “Rosanne”. They play marathons of it every night on TVLand, and I find myself up watching all of them!
As for everything else, I’ve really been loving everything 80′s! So anything 80′s and I’m good!

Q: You talk about your job often and have even filmed a few videos there! Do you love being a bartender? Any crazy stories?
Oh boy, the stories I could tell. Do you have a few hours? Its just amazing to see the different people that come and go into a bar. It feels good to know that you’re in charge of giving those people a good night out! I love being a bartender.

Q: How did you and your boyfriend meet?  What does your he think of your YouTube adventures?
We met through a friend, of a friend, of a friend, of a friend, who had this friend. LOL. And have been together ever since. He loves my YouTube videos! He thinks the whole “Guru” idea is great. You can’t find many guys out there who understand this sick obsession.

Q: What are some of your favorite channels to watch on YouTube?
I have a ton! If I’m subscribed to you, then more then likely your a favorite of mine.

Q: What got you started doing videos on YouTube?
I’ve been watching makeup videos on YouTube since about 2007. Finally I came over my fear and filmed my first video. It was “My current favorite products of January”.  Half those things I don’t even use anymore!

Q: How does it feel to have over 5,800 people care about you and your opinions?
It feels amazing! No seriously! When I got my first 10 subscribers I was ecstatic. Prancing around telling everyone 10 people watch me. Over 5,000 subscribers later, its unbelievable to me.

Q: Has YouTube affected your life?  If so, how?
Definitely! A lot of opportunities have come to me because of my videos, and I’m more then grateful! I’m just happy to maybe be affecting other peoples lives with makeup, even if its just a little!

Q: What do you do to keep your channel a positive place despite all of the negativity constantly coming at YouTubers?
Whenever you put yourself out there for the public to see, there will be criticism. You just have too look past all the bad, and realize how much good there is out there. Its amazing to see women (and men!) from all over the world coming together to talk about something we all love. And that’s what keeps me going, even if there are a few insecure people out there.

Q: We know you love your subscribers! But is there anything that you get sick of being told or asked?
I’m constantly being asked about my ethnicity, even though I’ve repeatedly said I’m Italian.  Its just the little things.

Q: Do you ever have buyer’s remorse for spending your hard earned money on beauty products?
Not at all. If anything, I have buyers remorse for buying other things that could be spent on more beauty products!

Q: What draws you to buy a certain product or brand of makeup?
Quality. I don’t care if its a drugstore brand eyeshadow. If the quality and colors are good, I’ll use it!

Q: Do you have any classic “go to” cosmetic items?  What are a few of your favorites?

I think every girl needs a black eyeliner and a good lipstick/lipgloss in their makeup bags. They can make a world of difference in any look.
