Q: What is your name? Do you have any nicknames?
Koren, well its actually longer than that, but let’s just say most know me as Koren. My family has a nickname for me, but we’ll just leave it at that. LOL

Q: We usually see you sitting down on camera! How tall are you?
I’m almost 5’11 – yeah people I meet in person always tells me I’m taller than they thought.

Q: Does anyone ever tell you that you look like someone famous? If so, who?
Hmmm I was told I looked like John Leguizamo.

Q: You have said that you used to do theater, dance, acting, and modeling. Do you still enjoy doing any of those things?
Yes, very much so – mostly Musical Theater.

Q: When did you become interested in cosmetics and beauty products?
Theater actually sparked my interest in makeup we have to wear makeup whenever we step on a stage. I just took that and expanded from there. Of course growing up with 3 women contributed.

Q: How did you decide makeup artistry was the career for you?
I just let my passion drive to it. I was to be in the medical field, but all that changed as my passion is in the arts, more specifically theater and makeup artistry.

Q: As an artist, do you prefer to work runway shows, photo shoots, or events?
I like doing them all. I think as an artist, we should not limit our self to one thing or a few things, but do anything and everything.

Q: Is it difficult to work with the different skin tones and features of new models and clients when you have to instate your creative vision quickly?
Well, where it comes down to, you hold the brush. You have full control. You create the art. The skin tones and features of the models or clients are just the canvas.

Q: What is your philosophy on beauty and makeup? Can anyone do it wrong?
Beauty exists on everyone, makeup helps others see it more. Ugly is if you can’t see beauty on everyone, then there’s no makeup than can fix that.
Can anyone do it wrong? Makeup is ART. It is always beautiful to who ever created it, and those who see it the same angle.

Q: Who or what are your inspirations as far as fashion and beauty?
I get inspiration from everything around me. Nature is a great resource for inspiration. Just open your eye and look around.

Q: What are a few of your “obsessions” right now?
Hahaha gosh, SHOES! I love shoes. Messenger Bags, I love Forensic TV Shows, NCIS, CSI.

Q: What got you started doing videos on YouTube?
My sister – she needed to salvage her fave limited edition lipstick. So she asked me to show her on a video and post it on YouTube.

Hahaha well, I met so many amazing people. I was able to be involved in major projects and trade shows. I probably wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for Youtube.

Q: We know you love your subscribers! But is there anything that you get sick of being told or asked?
Not really, my subscribers are all so sweet and understanding. And they all kinda help each other out if I can’t answer any question right away. They are also good at watching out for me. And I love that about them.

Q: Can you tell us a little more about the brushes and products that you sell on your new website?

I love Koren so much! He reminds me of people I know back home. –People I know, love and trust! I don’t think there’s one video I haven’t watched of his. When I first found his channel, I spent two days watching each and every one of his videos. Since then, I made it a point to watch one he has published on YT.
