“It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes, or bags!”  We hear it a million times every year, and yet it’s still so easy to get caught up in the trappings of Christmas.  The twinkling lights, the shiny packages, and the festive parties all seem to define the season no matter how hard we try to give it meaning.  And often the most daunting task of it all is the shopping.  We make a list, check it twice, and try to figure out who meant enough in our lives during the past year to make the infamous gift list.  But maybe, instead of worrying about getting those who made the list the perfect gift, we should be more concerned about letting them know what they meant to us in order to get them on that list in the first place. So no matter what you celebrate, or how you celebrate it, we are wishing you a safe and happy holiday this year, filled with love, joy, memories, and fulfilled wishes. Okay, and maybe  a pretty package or two.
