Do what is right for you. What works for one person isn’t gonna work for everyone. Identify the best products for you and how you feel comfortable wearing makeup and ROCK it! If your just starting out with makeup don’t feel discouraged watching people on YT who have large collections of makeup. It takes time to build up a collection. Use what you have and be proud of it!

Beauty exists on everyone, makeup helps others see it more. Ugly is if you can’t see beauty on everyone, then there’s no makeup than can fix that.

Whenever you put yourself out there for the public to see, there will be criticism. You just have too look past all the bad, and realize how much good there is out there. Its amazing to see women (and men!) from all over the world coming together to talk about something we all love. And that’s what keeps me going, even if there are a few insecure people out there.

Before YouTube all I wore were neutral looks and now I feel comfortable covering my face in 3D paint so I’d say it’s changed quite a bit in the past 5 months. I would honestly say that when it comes to makeup the sky is the limit. If you feel comfortable and confident with whatever you are creating whether it be a smokey eye or zombie makeup then go for it!

Everything and everyone inspires me. I have people ask me to make a color and I make it. Usually when I make colors, it’s not something that I am like “I want a color like this”, I just usually throw a bunch of pretty colors together and come up with a color I am satisfied with!

So if I’m “right” and you’re different from me, you must be “wrong”. But if you’re “right” (people are complimenting you and I’m different from you), then I must be “wrong” – which is a blow to one’s ego. People tend to bash others when their ego is threatened. Also, women tend to be competitive with one another by nature. As I said in that video, Live and Let Live!!! Learn to appreciate everyone’s differences. If we all did everything exactly the same this would be one hell of a boring world.”

For me, its pretty simple. “Do what makes you feel comfortable.” I know that I may wear a lot more makeup than some other people, but I’m comfortable with it and that’s all that matters. And I also know that I can totally walk out of the house without a stitch of makeup on and not care either. That’s my second philosophy. “Don’t let makeup rule your life.” It’s really not that serious ladies and gents. Let your face breathe every once in while, lol.

Family-wise, I guess they don’t quite understand why I need a whole drawer of blush, but they tolerate and are used to my obsession. As for my friends, they think it’s awesome because they get to sample some stuff out before purchasing and they get to play with what I have when we’re getting ready for a night out.

THERE ARE NO RULES! That I absolutely cannot stress enough!! If you like how something looks, what other people think doesn’t matter.
